The division is now in a state that does not currently need such a position, and this comes at a time where my personal life has taken over, leaving me without the ability to effectively carry out the position. I find myself spending my free time either focusing on schoolwork, or unfortunately carrying out other work tasks. With GMOD now being survived by a single server, TTT Anarchy, they do not require the “middleman” so to speak between the Managers and Directors. After speaking with @Salad, we have decided that he will carry out any responsibilities that I would in terms of GMOD, until such a time may come that this position needs to be filled once more. GMOD has been my home since I began at GFL, way back around 2011 or so, on our original GMOD Purge server. I played there religiously until about 2018 or so, when I took a bit of a step back from gaming to focus on my career. It wasn’t until about the start of 2021 when I joined GFL TTT Rotation, bringing me back to this community. It stemmed further into me finding CWRP, connecting there, and then began my journey to Division Leader. But no matter which server I played, I always found myself playing GFL. I know it’s typical of resignation posts to tag people who had an impact on your time here, however, that list would be entirely too long, and I would quickly find a max tag list that probably doesn’t exist. However, I feel anyone who reads this will know the kind of impact you had on my time here. From Admins, to Moderators, to Directors, Players, Gamemasters, Event Coordinators, Head Admins (yes, I’m showing my age with that reference), etc. Please know that I am eternally grateful for what you have done for, or with, me. Now this isn’t entirely goodbye. While I will no longer be DL/DR, I intend to remain as a Senior Moderator and continue with that team for however long that is. But, unless something changes in my life, that will likely be one of the last staff positions I fill here in GFL.
