They're developing some small satellites that can be sent at ~20% the speed of light and it's supposed to go to Alpha Centauri to get data (pictures) which it can send back to us. It would take 24 years for us to get any info back from Alpha Centauri which is not bad. Maybe if we manage to increase the speeds of the small satellites, we can make them usable for these 7 planets. It'd still take decades and the mission would probably outlive everyone alive but a few generations from now could be seeing pictures of a whole other solar system 40 light years away from our own. Also, *cough* instead of making a border wall, we could make 2 more James Webb telescopes or maybe 1 even better one *cough*.
