Ive seen more confusion in relation to timezones about this event with all the times removed as opposed to last time where we had one person that couldnt read the time. Any chance in future the time format as before could be included?

Had 12 hours straight of work on a project right after an exam so I had to be sorta late but just in time for the pred win (mother zm on fd boo ) Anyways was a fun event I'll just drop this pre nuke here:

its usually me or snowy that post the event threads.  since a lot of people are too lazy to convert their own time, snowy and I would probably return as it is, there was confusion about the abbreviation that we usually put on the last event thread, which is partly our fault. no one really had a problem with it until one guy can't figure it out how some abbreviations work relevant to the time zones. using UTC is a lot more confusing since not a lot of people are familiar with it.

 

anyways Thanks for anyone who participated at the event! was expecting a bad turnout but we manage to pull it off!

Thank you for the event, it was an interesting one! Usually it’s hard for me to take part in GFL events because of the time zone differences, but this time I’ve made it.

I’ve been on the server for 1,5 hours before the beginning of both events, and I on the contrary have an impression that I’ve seen more confusion about the ‘event start time’ last time. One thing that I can tell for sure is that last time I wasn’t the only one who clearly expressed their surprise in the game chat, that the event was going to begin earlier than they had anticipated.

I would only appreciate it if you made announcements about events for different time zones. The only thing that I actually ask is to mind the difference between Standard Time and Daylight Saving Time and use the precise time zone names in the announcements (as there are time zone name changes when switches to “summer”/”winter” time occur).
