GFL Prop Hunt Revival

I am going to start sitting as spectator in prop hunt in hopes of raising activity and maybe even awareness of the server itself (I just myself learned of it). If we could round up more to do so or to play I think the server could become more active.

If people afk there will be no one playing the server. So when someone joins that actually wanna play, there will be no one to play with.

You'd be surprised how effective it actually is. I used to do that for Murder, and still occasionally do for Deathrun, and almost every time I see an increase in server population.

I will play too. but I want someone to play with. now that I have become accustomed to gfl I feel like a part of the community. If I ever want to play prop hunt I have to leave the community and I don't enjoy it as much as a result. For a clan this big, I don't see why we would have such an inactive prop hunt server.

I've done it a few times on jailbreak, and it helped a little, but i was exploring maps, not AFK. Not sure if that would have changed anything.

tbh you guys shame afking way to much in my eyes here are the pros and cons of doing this

 

pros a dead server now has people so it will be raised on the list

if people are on people will join

 

cons it becomes an issue when the server starts to cap and there are afks simple fix admins kick the afks

admins afking can be "a possible loss of hope when players have an issue and it goes unsolved due to afk admins"

 

I'll say this time and time again any server can get population it just needs atleast 3 people on it to get it started.

Also, too many afks may result in us getting deranked on GameTracker, which is something we'd like to avoid. Although HNS is unranked and it's doing fine

Technically, shouldn't it be the admin to be doing these sort of populating the server? :3 It's weird to ask a player or member to do it, it just makes it bad on the admin side (my opinion).
