I just want to say this:

Although this is a steam rule; but it is the same on here; we are not responsible for your account. If you lend your account to your family member or friends; that's on you. If they broke a rule; that's still on you. Because it was on your account; not his/her/theirs, but yours. 

 

Why is it always "my brother did this; it wasn't me; please unban/ungag" or "my brother was on my acc"; Most admins will not believe you for this part because we get these like a lot; you have no idea how many people claim it was someone else. I mean even if it was me; and I do have two brothers; and they used my account and got me in trouble.... I'll still say its my fault considering it was on my account. 

 

Anyways, it's up to admin to decide if they want to unban you or not; good luck.

Not sure if it's like this in America... but in Canada taking a picture of someone that's underage and posting it on the internet without parental consent is a Federal Crime. Plus we don't really care if you do have any siblings or not. This isn't about them, this is about you. Even if they got you banned. As shown my Bae, stated by Valve, your account is your account and no one else's unless special permission is given to by Valve themselves.

There is a reason why there are online cops and a reason why people protest to remove internet. There are pedophiles and rapist out on the internet. If you post a picture of your brother on the internet to strangers that you don't know or pretend to be friends; they can send someone or have themselves mark this boy "We're going to kidnap this boy. Find out their address!" These things do happen, it's not just a tv show. Even a grown man/woman can still be kidnapped. 

 

I have a feeling you're probably not that far apart from your brother's age. You're not thinking; when @TheClassyBandit mentioned federal crime; he directly means sending it to us. We're not your family, we're not someone very close to you. You don't just randomly post a picture of someone and assume it's okay. I have no idea what kind of parent or guardian you have, they need to watch you like dead serious. We post pictures of ourselves because it's our decision to and it's a selfie with our consent. But we have no power from stopping people from using our pictures for other usage; because we chose to post it online. 

 

Let's put it simply:

It is against the law to post someone else's picture without parent consent if you're underage; even if you are at age; it is still the the parents' decision to. Unless, the person is your child and you gave consensual permission for them to use your child's pictures; then that's the only way that's allowed. But most of the time, these are usually done for posting forms to apply for passport, work, school, or even special events. People are allow to take pictures of others, things, and places, as long as it's okay to.

I don't mean to be rude, as I'm not an admin on TTT, but there is no reason for such a debate in an appeal section. Yes I can see why this argument, but please no reason to make this topic longer than it has to be. First let @BillyMartin to respond, and go from there.

 

C'mon people, we're GFL, not a courthouse.

P.S. @cloroxtoothpaste I know you feel the need to be right against an admin, I've been there. But it doesn't help when you argue against someone when you're trying to appeal a gag, so please, if you can my dude, refrain from it until after the admin who gagged you has responded.
