Net Neutrality

Recommended Posts

Posted  Edited by Riggs - Edit Reason: gave more specification

Since late 2015, the FCC had passed a vote which made what we know now as Net Neutrality. It's the internet's guiding principle. After President Trump was elected the FCC had elected a new chairman, Ajit Pai, and he proposed that Net Neutrality was restricting the ISP's (basically internet providers) and that the ISP's needed to have more control over their customers and what they get. The FCC is going to vote that either it survives or dies there. If Net Neutrality gets taken down the ISP's are going to throttle many different sites and cause people to pay more for the same experience.  I would like to hear the community's response on this dire situation.
