All I have to say is to just do it... That way people on the street can call you a nerd for having so much to do with online gaming... You nerd. (You should change it to "Dragonslayer" | Mike Dragonslayer has more of a ring to it and you would get all of the bitches and not be a nerd that random wild bees follow around everywhere)

I would not really suggest changing your last name, which in some cultures is seen as an insult to your family, but it's really your choice. Although personally, if you really want to change your name, I'd recommend changing your first name (Which can also be seen as an insult to some, so bee careful ).

Changing your first name is fine, but changing your last name is a no-go. I mean, unless you're one of those rich bastards that don't care. But if you do change your name entirely, you have to change a lot of things like passport, security identification, property, work, etc etc. The only time you are ever allowed to change your maiden name is if you're getting married; whether malexmale, femalexmale, or femalexfemale.

It is Asdigian. An Armenian Name I’ve been told.

 

I am not Armenian. And the person who I got the name from is not my father and is currently in jail for child abuse. (Nobody I am related to or know personally) 

 

It is a name I have never liked or felt any connection too. I can’t even write it in cursive anymore. It just turns to scribbles.

 

 

on the other hand, Beech is my stepfathers last name. Who was verbally and mentally abusive to me. And while I like the name, and he would hate for me to use it, my fiancé does not want to be connected to him in any way. I have considered other names for last name but Bee is close enough to the name I currently go by and have for years. And it is something I identify with. If you do have other suggestions then say them please. But I will for sure be changing my name even if it costs me an arm and a leg.

I simply made this to get some opinions. And will not base my final decision off of it. Another name I have considered using is Aswell, but that is just some name I made up when I was younger.

Your last name defines your history. If you're starting a new last name that no one even heard and when you get married; and if your partner wants to change it to your last name. The only history you will ever have for your future children, grandchildren and so on; is that you hated your last name or it doesn't sound cool. 

 

Well almost everyone or a few know my last name. Mine isn't a great last name but it defines that my ancestors went through tough times to come to where we are now.

Well I mean. The name I have now isn’t related to my ancestors.

 

I was actually born with a different last name and it was changed when I was a kid.

 

I do appreciate hearing the arguments against and seeing if they apply to me or not.

also it’s really up to you. I probably wouldn’t change the last name but special circumstances can call for special measures.
