A suggestion for SCP-999

Recommended Posts

First off, Id like to say that SCP-999 currently is a very sad scp to play as, unless you love acting as a medic with absolutely no power to fight at all( i personally just escape as soon as possible when im 999 , no one likes being a MTF/Researcher's pet toy, at least i hope not...), in light of this I believe SCP-999 is entitled to be able to do something besides just endless healing and running from SCPs ( at least d class can fight back you know?)

I am suggesting that SCP-999 be able to "tickle" anyone he wants, SCP and researchers/d-class alike (yes MTF and CI too). tickling would essentially "stun" the target for 5 seconds. I suggest a 30-45 seconds cooldown in order to balance this and prevent spam tickling. No, i do not know of any addon or anything that can currently do this and I hope its something you can code in on your side if this idea is accepted.

thanks and have a nice day.

-1 Shouldn't be needed as long as Scp-999 is healing people. They'd not attack since Scp-999 would be keeping them alive etc. Usually people only attack if Scp-999 isn't healing.  Plus the whole point of Scp-999 is a medic pretty much so it'd probably be kinda op if Scp-999 could do more etc. But I understand what you mean. :)

I understand the point your trying to make, but id like you to view 999 as being the player itself, its extremely boring being a medic on a server where basically everyone else has the ability to fight. It would be nice to see 999 do something, and what i suggest doesn't make him OP as he isn't directly causing damage , and the stun would only affect a person every 30 -45 seconds which would help balance things out, its not like 999 can go on a stun rampage xD. I was thinking, just maybe, but what if tickling healed 5-10hp per second of stun, so a total of maybe 25 or 50 health regen with every tickle, i can see that as a possible solution that would continue to make 999 a medic but not as boring anymore don't you think? I understand that some might find that too OP, so in order to balance maybe we can shed some of its HP, perhaps down to 2500 or so. or decrease its non-tickle healing speed. just ideas, what do you think?

I love playing as Scp-999. And it probably isn't really needed to be honest as Scp-999 is good as it is. But Scp-999 could always be adjusted in the future. :)

honestly that's understandable, everyone has their different opinions and we are all entitled to express them. I'm just not a background medic kind of guy i guess lol. Im gonna hope 999 adjustments are made though, even if it isn't my original idea, just something to make 999 worth playing as . :)

Some people like to play 999, some people don't. We could still add the long ago suggested able to choose not to spawn as certain SCPs.

In regards to this suggestion, I have to -1. 999 is supposed to heal humans and stun SCPs. If you want to have fun, go stun an scp and listen to them scream as mtf kills them defenseless.

I'm gonna go on a hunt for this suggested idea you mentioned, because that would be very useful and probably more appealing to the community than modifying 999 as a whole, not enough votes yet in my opinion to be sure but something tells me people enjoy 999 as it is :P
