READ THIS IF YOU PLAN ON CONTACTING AN ADMIN ON THE FORUMS.

Many things I've noticed happening when players contact admins is that instead of actually messaging them on the forums the proper way, they post on their status update for everyone to see...yeah....

 

Just to show you what the right thing to do is, when you want to contact an admin, when going to a players profile, you will notice these two blue buttons next to their name that says "Follow Member" and "Message" . What you want to do is click the Message button. An alternative way to do this is by clicking the envelope at the top right of your screen, clicking compose a message, then doing it from there.

 

Now you may be asking "Rcool, we aren't stupid, why are you making this thread?". There are new people on the forums who appear to use Status updates to contact admins as it is the first thing they see that they're allowed to type in when going on a profile. I'm making this topic just so people know to use messages to PRIVATELY contact admins. Posting on status updates make the conversation PUBLIC. Hope this helps!

That's the easy way for people who don't know how to use the forums. You guys should add the other way too. The composing one.

yeah its better for new people to know how to contact admins privately plus it reduces commotion amongst forum members
