I was thinking, why don't we have an opt-in role assigned by one of our bots called notify or whichever role is fit to be notified by a post in #announcements about what topics we should go with. Current Events occurs, and some of them are pretty important from now and then, and there are some people that'd like to talk about their life, one subject, or something special like Valentines' Day, Easter, 4th of July, etc. The setup would be like: Quote Vote on the topic of the week! it ends ___ and starts on ___ 1. Trump probably made some citizen mad over a decision he made 2. Relationships 3. Beverages 4. School Have fun! or something close like that. A Discord Moderator or higher-ups would do the job alone to post in #announcements Thoughts? If it's too difficult to do or too much work with a bot, then maybe we could have a Topic of the Week channel and just have someone like you announce the topic.
