TheJitFace 707 / 18,226 Report Post Posted June 27, 2019 Do you believe in ghosts, and if you have an experience, what is your story? I don't have any stories I can "confirm", but my dad, my uncle (dad's brother), grandpa, and great grandpa all have the same story. My grandpa and great grandpa both passed away in the early 2000s so I never heard their side of the story. I first heard the story from my dad and uncle who believe in ghosts but are very skeptical of certain stories. This story takes place twice, I will explain the "twice" part in the story. The first experience took place in 1979, my dad, uncle, grandpa, and great grandpa were all going to a farm that was owned by my family. My dad and uncle were too young, but they were there. They were all in the car and when they visited the farm, they saw a woman there picking cotton. Yes, it was a cotton farm, and no we never had slaves. (Just made sure everyone knows lol) My grandpa and great grandpa were a bit confused because no one was supposed to be working that day. My great grandpa got out the car to let her know that she isn't supposed to be working, as he approached her, she just wasn't there. Now I can't confirm how she disappeared if she walked away or faded away or something because I wasn't there, but she just wasn't there. My grandpa and great grandpa knew what was up, so they just left. Fast forward to the 90s, the same group visit the same farm, but this time at night. They were visiting to check up on the farm's condition and make sure nothing was out of the ordinary. When they drove down the field, a bit farther down where they were last time, the same woman was there doing the same thing. Again, no one was supposed to be working this day at this time. My grandpa and great grandpa realized what was going on and left like before. We still own the farm to this day and next time I go to India, I am going to the farm to see if I can find the ghost lady. jitticus
Male_08 403 / 0 Report Post Posted June 27, 2019 No, not really. I've never had any "encounters" with ghost so I don't really believe in them. Although some storys are very believable.
VilhjalmrF 2,105 / 30,759 Report Post Posted June 27, 2019 Nope. I've heard stories but the people who seem to tell them are either trying to make a quick buck (or in some way benefit from telling those stories) or are just delusional. Average HL2RP Enjoyer. FACE OF TWITCH 7 / 898 Report Post Posted June 27, 2019 Hell yeah brother, I had a few weird things happen when I was younger. As I got older, I don't think anything of that level has happened again.
Rick 1,651 / 17,992 Report Post Posted June 27, 2019 Yeah I have around my Dad's house around 5 years ago. It was scary for me back then but looking back on it is actually heart warming, but we had a dog called Benji who passed away not long before this encounter. I was in my room pitch black and I had a small light from an extension lead or something. Anyways I was trying to sleep and heard what sounded like paw prints walking around in the hallway. I then remember looking at the light and seeing him sitting there staring at me. I wasn't around my Dads when he passed away so I would like to consider this his final farewell to me. Either way I screamed out for my Dad and looking back at it he was gone. Never seen him since but I kinda wish I do. I'm still not sure if I 100% believe in spirits though. I'd very much like too as of this encounter but like I said it was 5 years ago I was young maybe my brain was playing tricks on me. SS PigeonShit 231 / 0 Report Post Posted June 27, 2019 Sounds kind of dumb, but the closet I've had to a ghost encounter was being smacked on the ass by one It's pretty straightforward. I was in my late teens at the time, still in school, and was at home laying face down on my bed looking at my iPod. Well all of a sudden something or someone smacked me on the ass. And this wasn't like a little tap, it was audible and it was hard enough that I jumped out of bed to hit somebody. But there was no one there. Open the door, look around the house, I'm the only one home. Same room like a year later I'm in my room, lights off, getting ready to go to bed and suddenly my sheets move and get padded down, like someone just sat next to me on my bed, like this I just sat as still as I possibly could and eventually (idk how to describe it) it no longer felt like anyone was there. Other than that, there have been a few minor things but I really don't believe in ghosts or spirits or any of that, so I think the things that happened could be explained. I do think on VERY rare occurrences there may be anomalies in the laws of physics that may allow certain things to happen that are unexplainable, but I think those would be incredible rare. More often than not, I think I think most thinks that happen either can be explained as natural causes or are all in a persons mind. Trigger 158 / 5,027 Report Post Posted June 27, 2019 Back when I was little I used to believe in ghosts. But now I don’t. I hope people don’t mistake being high or having sleep paralysis when they experience these “paranormal” encounters. ֍ Trigger ֍
 Dr_Steel 31 / 1,885 Report Post Posted June 27, 2019 Edited June 27, 2019 by Dr_Steel - Edit Reason: Wanted to add more to the story I have had some spooky moments happen to me. For example, 1 week after we moved into a new house, me and my little brother just decided to play with some Legos. Don't know why, but we did. We sat the lego box somewhere, and after about 10 mins into our session, the lego box fell and almost every lego piece spilt out of the box. The weird thing was the box wasn't over the edge of whatever we sat it on...at all. It became kind of a running joke between me and my brother as we would keep spooking each other by moving things and tipping things over when the other wasn't looking and we would blame it on the ghost Edited June 27, 2019 by Dr_Steel Wanted to add more to the story "Sacrifices have to be made to get somewhere in life." - Rebecca_Doodles (Friday Night Funkin' Starving Artist Mod)
JGuary55 713 / 14,763 Report Post Posted June 27, 2019 Story number 1 So like 4 years ago we went to Disney land (my first time) but the second day we were there we got a call saying my grandma past away , , so we left Disney land and went home so the next day we were all sitting where my grandma and grandpa used to watch tv. And the lights start flickering for a lil bit so we all thought it was our grandma letting us know that she’s alright and telling us bye. story number 2 ( got told this story by my grandma that happened to her friend) so my grandmas friend mom passed away and when she was home she heard her door bell ring and went to the door and no one was there she went right into tears because she knew who it was. Dragoon 389 / 10,855 Report Post Posted June 28, 2019 Edited June 28, 2019 by Scourge October in 2017, I was listening to Linkin Park on headphones at my dad's house, and I felt a hand touch me on my left knee, but nobody was there, also keep in mind, this was only about 3 months since the lead singer had committed suicide. I'm also a germaphobe and nobody would touch me normally because I don't want them to. Harakoni 729 / 12,370 Report Post Posted June 29, 2019 Edited June 29, 2019 by Harakoni I suppose ghosts could exist - could, but not in a real sense. Often i've found myself alone, midday or midnight, outside or inside, City or Grassland; and i find my mind wondering. I suppose it could be explained by inbuilt genetic paranoia from ages long past, that incessant anxiety that tugs when you stare at a closed door, the behavioral imprint that somethings around the corner, around the tree, behind the streetlamp. There's always that feeling, always when someone is alone, that you can't help but start noticing things, the subtle movement of a branch, the minute rustlings of leaves, shadows moving inexplicably in and out of vision. Your mind, in the sense of a coping mechanism, i'd guess keeps itself calm by picturing something to fill these unexplained voids - the wanderings of the subconscious. The faint halo of a figurine metamorphosing into a contorted human shape. A sound akin to footsteps, drawing closer to only fade away. The creaking of a floorboard, no more than a heating pipe groaning, slightly too heavy to be just what it is. The human mind is a powerful thing, personally i wouldn't doubt that the imagination - not the active, but the subconscious, is the most powerful part of our being. Willing things, maybe just for a second, into existence. Who knows, maybe that shadow is just of a keepsake after all; until your attention wavers once more, and the shadows begin quivering again. Qas 110 / 4,140 Report Post Posted June 30, 2019 As a Muslim we believe in something called a Jinn, Djinn or genie what ever you wanna call it. A Jinn is an entity which is created from fire which has no smoke. There are 3 types of Jinn 1st type is the ones with wings they fly and roam around in the skies. 2nd type is they're animals. There's a category of Jinn that typically appears in the form of animals and two animals in particular the jinns love to appear in, but sometimes there's other animals. And the 2 main animals the Jinn love to appear in are Snakes and Dogs. But this does not mean they never appear in other forms as they could have other forms. 3rd type of Jinn is the type that comes and go. The ones that irritate us and wants to come into our lives. The ones that they try to frighten us. Are these the only types of Jinn in Islam? No as scholars say that the Quran and the Sunnah mention more than these. So these are an example of 3 types of Jinn. That is all I have to explain but if you want to know more make sure to watch this:
