 People most likely were slow to react, to be expected all things considered. It'd be pretty hard for anyone to react in that situation, nobody expected something like this to happen.

I mean, police killed the man 3 hours after the shooting started. So at the very least, he had plenty of time.

You're an absolute idiot if you think that patrons at a BAR should be able to carry a gun. Drinking and carrying is a terrible combination.

They're security guards. They're not trained to deal with any sort of "crisis". I work security for the busiest bar in my city and I can guarentee you that nobody here should have a gun. 

 

The issue isn't the gun control or lack thereof, it's the inability for anyone to be able to predict when US born citizens are going to do something like this. It's no ones fault, but when you give the people the ability to use deadly force, you're going to see a lot more deaths in the name of "heroism".
