What kind of punishment was it (mute/gag, server ban): Permaban for "Doxxing"

 

Why should you be unbanned?

Apparently I was banned for doxxing someone in the server when I didn't?

For context, a bunch of people in a CS:GO surf server in voice chat were playing around with talking about phone numbers and talking about prank calls and all that, when one person brought up the concept of doxxing.

At around that time I sent a random phone number for a Dairy Queen located in Arizona in the chat for laughs.

I know it sounds real stupid, cause it is...

Supposedly that's what got me banned, though.

I suppose the admin assumed I was doxxing someone or something.

But I just looked up a random Dairy Queen and sent the phone number.

I did look up the numbers that you sent directly in the chat, and none of them are connected to a Dairy Queen. In fact, the first is a phone sex number. Posting porn/adult services in a place where there are minors is highly inappropriate and not something I appreciate. On top of this, you posted this number more than a couple of times, following it up with "for sex".

 

To add onto this, you also posted a number that led to an actual person later on.

 

Edit: Yeah, one of the numbers you posted was to Dairy Queen. My mistake. 

 

Obviously, the ban stays. Thanks for playing and hope you had fun while it lasted.
