NBA Finals - Who do you got winning it?

Recommended Posts

Posted  Edited by ISGBrady

As of right now the Golden State Warriors are leading the Cleveland Cavaliers in the NBA Finals best-of-seven series 3-2. The Dubs were up 3-1 and had a chance to clinch their second straight NBA title last Monday in Game 5 in Oakland, but in that game we saw the Cavs stunning them and their fans by winning 112-97 to keep their championship hopes alive!

Also in that game, the Warriors saw their starting center, Andrew Bogut, suffer a left knee sprain after collapsing to the floor awkwardly in the 3rd quarter. He would remain out for the rest of that game. But just today it was confirmed that Bogut would miss the rest of the season. During the NBA Finals, he made plenty of key blocks and shots to help his team. Now that he is out, Anderson Varejao could be starting in his place. Varejao is the first player in NBA history to play for both Finals teams in the same year (Guaranteeing himself a ring lol), and he has contributed to his Warriors' team during the series.

Draymond Green was also suspended in Game 5 after receiving a flagrant foul for scuffling with LeBron James back in Game 4. He will return in Game 6, but he is a flagrant foul away from another suspension! Should the Cavaliers bait him?

Game 6 will be in Cleveland, and the Cavs have only lost one home game in the postseason (Game 4 vs Warriors). Last year, the NBA Finals ended in six games as Golden State clinched the title in front of Cleveland! The Cavaliers hope to not see that occur once again, especially their fans, as they look to do what they couldn't do last year: Send the series to Game 7.

Can Cleveland force a Game 7? Who do you guys got winning this thing the rest of the way?

Can't count the cavs out. Everyone hates on lebron, but he's an intelligent player. I think they are gonna keep on draymond and see if he can get that suspension. As for the series though, you have to think that the GSW have the advantage.

Youre right, you can't count them out. Cavs overcome 3-1 deficit to win title!

Dude, Klay and Curry fucking blew it. Barnes picked the worst time to

hit a slump, and Kyrie Irving was the reason they won game 7.

Klay is classless tho. He went into the locker room early in Game 6 and he didn't even congratulate a single Cavs player after Game 7. I guess he "got his feelings hurt" ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Wait until the Olympics when draymond and Klay have to listen to Kyrie all summer hahahaha

Kyrie will obviously play better than those two in the Olympics bball tourney. After 73 wins and a long postseason, there's no way Klay and Draymond will be playing at the same rate as they were playing at this season.
