I agree and am aware we would need to face application-layer attacks on the network. That's why BiFrost is being created to fight against these application-layer attacks (which will include in-depth filtering for SRCDS as well). The attacks I'm more concerned about are high-volume based since many of the hosting providers I've found that support BGP sessions don't fight well against larger-volume (D)DoS attacks. This is why I'm leaning towards a quantity over quality approach to the network, but
