Why should you be unbanned?

I was using an alt account to smurf on mm and i got a cooldown so i went into kz to practice lj for a bit.  I had autobhop on at the time. I was never trying to use it to cheat onto the leaderboard or anything and i wasnt autostrafing either. i was just trying to get around faster. I didnt realize that that would get me a ban like an idiot. I didnt think much of it since it was an alt. I got back on my main just to genuinely get better at kz and got banned instanly for ban evading because i didnt know that was something this server did. Im sorry and now i know how seriously you take this server. I would love to be able to get back on these servers since there are no other good ones in my area. again im truely sorry and i hope that you can believe me when i say that i wont cheat again.

Hey there - While Infra will likely have more input, I wanted to mention that at minimum, the bhop script ban was issued by the KZ Timer plugin itself and is in fact a global ban across all servers making use of the KZ Global API. I'm not sure if the plugin also reports back for sleuth bans like that, but it is possible that may have extended the original ban as well - https://forum.gokz.org/p/player-rules

Unfortunately, as Ash has already pointed out, automated cheating bans are applied throughout the system of global KZ servers. This means you have been banned from all KZ Climb servers that utilize the Global KZ Database. To clarify your global bans:

• STEAM_1:0:506168129 (That is, /id/-1e) has been globally banned for ban evasion.
• STEAM_1:1:511124685 (That is, /id/-69420) has been globally banned for BHop cheating.

 

Due to the attempted evasion, you have been globally banned for 2 months on both accounts. You can appeal your global bans to the KZ Global Team using this link: GOKZ Rules & Appeals

 

Because these are global bans, I will be unable to remove your ban until your appeal to the KZ Global team gets accepted. If your appeal to the KZ Global Team is accepted, you may remake an appeal here and I will be more than happy to unban you. If you have anymore questions, feel free to hit me up on Discord.
