Why should you be unbanned?

I just logged on and tried to join the server, but it appears I've been banned - even though I wasn't the other day which I got off without having been banned etc. I went to the SourceBans website it said, to figure out why I'd been banned but when I type in my name or Steam ID, nothing shows and even one of the discord server admin, 'Infra', had tried to find a record of my ban using my Steam ID - but couldn't. To be straight, this is really odd, I don't know what I have done wrong to even deserve a ban if it were the case, but I hope and expect to be unbanned as this is probably just a mistake and I just want to play some hide and seek on an actual good server.
