What kind of punishment was it (mute/gag, server ban): Server Pban

 

Why should you be unbanned?

 

I pretty much just downloaded a really sketchy cheat knowing pretty much any server with anti-cheat would detect it. But at the time i didn't realize hns had it so i wanted to join and just see what would happen because i saw 2 other people get banned from the anti-cheat recently. Not really thinking it would work and you can tell from me writing this it clearly did detect it so. It was really dumb on my part but idk anymore. I just miss playing on the server occasionally and miss talking to the people on the server. I promise not to use any sort of cheat or break any rules within my ability to do so. Even if i tried it would just ban me again lol. So either way thank you for taking the time to read through this and have a nice day! ❤️

I personally find this appeal to be a genuine apology and believe Siraid to not do something like this again. I think he should be unbanned.

I agree with Jazza's judgement, however I want to say this. if you are trying to "test" the cheat detection of a server you should, as far as I personally think common sense is concerned, ask a higher up if you are allowed to "try out" something like this first as an indication that if you get pbanned then it wasn't you trying to maliciously break the rules.
However, if the higher up rejects it(which I think is relatively likely), you should then not do it.

I think i may have worded what i said the first time i bit differently that i should have lemme rephrase it. I wasn't trying to really test the anti-cheat but its kinda what ended up happening, At first i just wanted to try and just mess around a bit not trying to like completely ruin everyone's time and stuff like that but that was my intent at first and just from be making appeal you can probably tell I regret trying in the first place. Even if i did get to actually even be able to move without it banning me instantly i wouldn't have even done much besides have a little bit of fun with people i knew at the time and stuff that isnt necessarily something someone would consider "server breaking" or something like that. But it is cheating either way. I just see where i went wrong i regret doing that and it wont happen again.

I'm going to add on to what Frank and Jazza said here. The apology seems pretty genuine and I don't really see you doing this again. In addition, you were once a former admin and have very minimal bad history with the server (the only thing I can recall is that you're a little trolly, and if you're with certain people, it can get pretty out of hand, though you aren't doing most of the arguing/trolling tbf). I don't see a reason why we shouldn't unban because of this.

 

I'd be completely happy to give you another chance, and since Frank and I seem to have already agreed on the verdict to unban, I'll just go ahead and accept this.
