Event #251 -- "In honor of willy 'based' wilson"

Event Overview:

Hello everyone! This event was selected from our Nomination Megathread, which you can check (and nominate your own ideas) here! -- If you'd like to see your nominations appear in these threads make sure to drop your ideas in the thread linked above!

 

For this week, as suggested by Soviet_Tornado we'll be doing the LOTR Marathon without Minas Extreme and Isengard, but most importantly the second event ever to honor a man missed in both CS:S and CS:GO, willy based wilson. This event seems like it'll be long with the amount of maps we'll be playing, but all the maps we'll be playing will be short ones and on Minas we'll only limit ourselves to Normal mode as per Soviet's request, so all in all it should be a short and sweet event.

Notice:

• Events are scheduled in our Steam group, however, we also always announce over at our Discord server when the event begins.

Special Kickers:

• Only Normal mode on Minas.

VIP Rewards:

• Winners of any three maps with one week of big V.I.P.
• Winners of all maps will win two weeks of big V.I.P.

Rules:

• This event will be of chill but also tryhard nature. Off-topic talk is allowed so long as it doesn't start interfering with the flow of the maps.
• Regular server rules will apply for this event as usual.
• Sitting in spec unless you're a spectating admin is not allowed.
• Every map will be played for about 120 minutes. Any extra extends can be requested and done through admin votes.
