As you know, a giveaway is being announced with the release of this data, and you can find your winner at the bottom! As can be seen in the chart, most people have been in GFL for less than four years with the majority being in GFL for one to two years. There are a large number of people who have been here for 6+ years. Garry’s Mod, while being a large division, does not make up over 50% of daily players, but is the most active on the responses. Roughly one third of all respondents are staff members. Over 58% of players who responded are between 16 and 21. - Most respondents identified themselves as heterosexual, with asexual being the least common. Most people in GFL are single, while “married” and “other” are tied for least common. The largest proportion of GFL are college students with those who hold a Master’s Degree being the least common. Most people in GFL are currently unemployed (50.4%) but only about a third of them are looking for employment at the moment. Of people with jobs most are full time with part time not far behind. Over half of GFL identifies as not religious or agnostic. Of those who responded, the split between the five responses are fairly even, aside from “politics are gross” being an extreme outlier. GFL is a PC based community. Most people in GFL play over 16 hours of video games a week. The most popular games from outside GFL that people play are Halo and Minecraft, but the most popular games not included in the options that make up other are Destiny, World of Warcraft, and Genshin Impact. The most popular browser is Google Chrome. Most people in GFL consume their media through Youtube or similar services, but no one said that they watch cable the most. Most people in GFL watch anime but about a third of people do not. Of those that do watch anime most people prefer subbed over dubbed but a large amount of people are fine with either. Most people believe that the sequel trilogy is the worst Star Wars trilogy. Most people think that it depends on the game if videogames are art. This is a fun graph since the colors match the responses and most people think that blue is the best color with purple in a close second.
