Event #261 -- "Le funni japanese maps + ruski"

CHRISTMAS EVENT NOTICE:

Having finished last week, we'll be giving out rewards for the Christmas events (regarding participation in the next few days). Winner awards for first and second event days have been given already, so if you won any maps in those days then you should have your rewards regarding those already. More clarifications and information regarding winners will be posted in the proper thread once its all ready. (Assuming this takes long, rewards for participation will also be extended).

Event Overview:

Hello everyone!

 

For this event as suggested by CS:S' favorite Crobat we'll be taking a look at this set of maps made by people who do not reside on this side of the world (my side of the world). The following maps, as the title of the event may suggest were made by both Japanese and Russian mappers! These maps aren't particularly hard or too overly complicated to beat, so we should be in for a relatively chill event. However, it is important that we focus at least a little bit if we want to win!

PLEASE REFER TO THE TIME LISTED IN THE STEAM GROUP AS THE ABSOLUTE TIME AT WHICH THE EVENT STARTS!

Notice:

• Events are scheduled in our Steam group, however, we also always announce over at our Discord server when the event begins.

Special Kickers:

• RTV stages on both Tilex and Grau will be played three times to give everyone a fair chance at winning them.

VIP Rewards:

• Winners of any two maps will be going home with two weeks of big V.I.P.!
  • Winning RTV stage also counts as you winning the map, in case you couldn't beat it!

Rules:

• This event will be of tryhard but mostly chill nature, micspamming / off-topic is allowed so long as it's not overshadowing / overly spammy.
• Regular server rules will apply for this event as usual.
• Sitting in spec unless you're a spectating admin is not allowed.
• Each map will be played for about 120 minutes. Any extra extends can be done through admin extends.
