Introductions and focus

This past weekend has been pretty great! We managed to populate the server to a degree it hadn't in a very long time from my understanding. Many people left months ago and never thought they would see a real return of GFL Prop Hunt. I've heard a lot of praise thus far and I kinda feel bad. I haven't really done anything yet, the interest is there and I hope to continue to foster a chill, fun, and kind community from all of this.

The future of GFL Prop Hunt

Currently I am working on cleaning some things up, getting workshops swapped over and such. I have a lot to learn still but a lot of people very willing and eager to help and teach. Moving forward my initial focus will be lowering file size for the server, this will include removing a large majority of maps. Many maps are updated versions of ones on there still, as well as maps that don't work with the gamemode or even show up on mapvote. 

From there I will be working on a separate server adding all of the thing it will need, testing it, getting it set and planning a launch event for GFL Prop Hunt revamp! As we continue to progress I will update you all with news on what is being added and other details like that.

Definitely proves its possible though! I've been super happy to see it, and the server has been popping quicker too!

Nice, seems to be going well, make sure to keep a good attitude and listen to the community or else your booming server could flop as we have seen elsewhere in GFL.

 

Not a fan of prop hunt personally but you seem to be doing a good job with it from an outside view.  Good timing with the summer rush as well!

From my experience with working with this guy, I can safely say this server is in more than capable hands and am excited to watch what happens to this server.
