A small introduction

 

Hey there, I just wanted to take this moment to introduce myself. Hello, I am Trigger, the Writing Team's Leader. From now on I will be managing the Writing Team and everything they do. I have a lot of great ideas for the future of the Writing Team and hope to see them come to light!  If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to PM me.

------2 New CS:GO servers, Minigames and 24/7 AWP------

 

 

After much long discussion and debate, please welcome two brand new servers to GFL’s server list, 24/7 AWP and Mini-games! Both were highly requested from players since the success of Jailbreak. It’s almost a guarantee that these will do just as great! Please come and visit our servers, we are sure that you will find something you’ll like!

------RivalRevival stepping down as Director------

 

 

Our dearest friend, Wiggles, has officially stepped down as Director. 

 

Wiggles (RivalRevival) has contributed greatly to GFL by leading as a director and supporting the community as a committed player. Over the years, Wiggles has worked his way up the ranks to achieve such a position. His dedication and commitment to GFL prove that he will forever be a reputable player within the community. Though he has left officially, he will still be around Discord to chat with everyone, even coming in once in a while to help the GFL staff.

 

 

------Removal of Media Team------

 

 

In case you’ve haven’t heard, the Media team and most of the teams in it are officially removed. Our Directors believed that most of the team was unnecessary and time-consuming. Video Editor and Streamer roles were removed with Media Team. However, the Writer role was moved to Public Relations and GFX was made into its own team. This change was foreseen by many, as the workload and effort from these teams were minimal.

------The success of PR’s Event Coordinators------

 

 

If you haven’t been to one of their “fun times”, well then you’re missing out. The Event Coordinators have created a multitude of events for GFL. Some examples of their work would be movie nights, talent shows, and karaoke. For movie nights, they choose a wide variety of movies to play for the audience. Obviously, it being October they chose horror movies. And I’m sure that for December, they’ll choose Christmas-themed movies. Talent shows were introduced in late October. You can audition for a part and perform in front of an audience! You will need some sort of talent to audition, so make sure to go in unique!

Movie night seems to be a favorite among members of GFL, so if you have the time make sure to check them out!

 

 

------New GFL game in development------

 

 

Ever wanted to murder a GFL staff member? Well here’s your chance!

 

In early October, a GFL developer by the name of Rocket came up with the idea to create a “GFL Video Game”. Now, I know what you’re thinking, but hear me out. His idea is to have GFL staff members attack you, the player, all while you simultaneously gun them down with a multitude of weapons. The game will be a 2D platformer with randomly generated levels. 

 

As of October 28th, the game is still in development. Hopefully in due time the game will be finished, and should be quite beautiful!

 

 

------Partnership with Glitch.win------

 

 

In mid-October, a person by the name of Rocky contacted Ben about a possible partnership with their* site. The site, Glitch.win, will reward users for completing in-game objectives. After Ben and Rocky conversed about the matter, they finally came to a wonderful conclusion! That conclusion being that Glitch.win will provide giveaways to GFL , however, in return those who enter the giveaway will have to sign up on their website to qualify. 

 

Their giveaways are always new and diverse, so be sure to check out the given rewards!

This was a bit blinding for my eyes especially when dark color is on dark color. 🤣 But other than that, it was simple to understand about what happen during those past months.
