Check the top right, here: What even are beta features? Beta features are features of the forum that are not ready to be put into public use yet, but they are ready enough for people to play around with and give feedback on. Features shown by opting in are liable to be broken and/or buggy and/or very ugly. Your forum experience may be fucked up because of a beta feature; opt out if that is the case and please make a report here.
