Why should you be unbanned?

The whole team was stacked against the invis wall on the greed ending, i didnt want to use light early because the timing for the door has changed on the cs2 port, I tried to use the item as the zombies got to the door but it didnt work because of the human stacked on the side i was standing. The item also has a slight delay when you use it on the cs2 port so when i walked forward it didnt push the zombies as i used the audio queue to time my walk. There was also a chance that ring was lying about doing greed ending and using light early would probably have gotten me banned based on ices logic. If i wanted to troll i would have hid with light and gone in last second but i was with the team at the door purposely not doing anything that could get me banned as i knew ice would ban me for doing anything other than how he thinks the map should be played. On top of that this is my second ban on cs2 with my first ban being 1 hour for delaying for 2 minutes on skyrim and my second ban in about 6 - 7 months so even if this appeal gets denied I dont see why it got me a 7 day ban. The ban was instant meaning ice most likely didnt even see what had happened and banned me because he thought i pushed the zombies into the humans.

If this was just a simple misuse randomly, you would not have been punished for it. Additionally, you were banned instead of receiving an item restriction because item restrictions do not currently exist in CS2. The reasons for the ban were as followed:

• Multiple times throughout the map, your best friend Asc3nded inquired about if trolling was permitted on the map, to which was responded "No". I made it clear to the entire server multiple times that trolling would result in a ban.
• You have multiple 1-day bans on record and multiple ebans on record for trolling in the same way.
• After picking up the item, you typed in chat you didn't know how to use it, which from your past history is obviously not true. This caused me to type in admin chat (so that you couldn't see it) that if you decided to not use or intentionally misuse the item and the team did not win the round, you were going to receive a ban over it.
• When the incident happened, I told you over voice chat to use the item, which you decided to ignore until half the team was dead.

 

If this was a new player doing it and if I hadn't said multiple times throughout the map that trolling wasn't allowed, I might have given the benefit of the doubt. However, with the constant warnings against trolling, your past history, and what you typed in chat before this happened, I see this incident as nothing more than you attempting to troll and cause the CT team to lose.

 

As for the ban's duration, you already had a 1 day ban in CS2 for trolling and a separate 1 day ban back in CSGO, and as such your next ban was 1 week.

1: as i said in the my appeal i didnt intentionally troll, i was with the team at the door waiting for it to open. 2: I typed "how to use light" after i picked it up as a joke because trolling wasnt allowed, meaning i would be using light with the rest of the team which i never usually used to do. 3: As i said in my appeal i didnt know the timing for the door opening, when i tried to use light the stack of humans caused the item to not work. i was on the right side of the door and the humans on the left side died first. When the light eventually activated some people on the left had died causing the light to boost them. i clearly used the item at the door but the stacking caused it to not work initially so i dont see how this is intentional misuse or non use of the item.
