The Council has chosen to demote Director of Communications Shuruia and has voted him out of the Council. We have observed and have been made aware of situations where Shuruia has acted inappropriately which ultimately led to the Council no longer feeling confident in having Shuruia as a Director.
We do not wish to start a discussion, but we believe it is in everyone’s best interest to make this note: A situation regarding Shuruia in another community led me, Nick, to have a meeting with the owner. Some of the information that I received at this meeting has played a role in this ordeal, but it was in no way a major driving force.
We will not disclose more in respect to the people involved.
