On the Garry's Mod workshop, there is a custom role for TTT known as the Astronaut, which replaces that replaces the Detective and has the gimmick where you can use your role-specific item known as the Vote Maker on a dead body to call a vote for everyone to kill someone. While Cpt.Haxray and I like the idea of this role, this was sadly made for CR for TTT, which means that the role is incompatible with TTT2. Seeing as how the role's gimmick is tied only to a SWEP, I do believe that the role could be ported over to TTT2.
What I want the finished product to include:
- All role-specific console variables are kept in the port
- Adding a console variable that allows you to choose if the Vote Maker gains a charge whenever a Traitor is killed
- Adding a console variable that allows you to choose how many charges the Vote Maker starts with
- Icon is kept from the original role
- Compatibility with TTT2
- Vote Maker's text when hovering your mouse over a dead body is modified to mention that clicking this body will start a vote, and if the specific console variable where using the Vote Maker destroys a body on use is active, it will also mention that using it will destroy the body
- Compatibility with the TTT2 Jester role
