Why were you banned?: Just a warning, but I want it removed. "NSFW" by Skittlez

 

Why should you be unbanned?

 

This was the image:

 

NSFW is not a rule. The rule that does exist is Explicit Content that states "Do not send explicit images/links that include nudity, overt sexual imagery, morbidity, or anything that conflicts with Discord's Terms of Service: https://discordapp.com/terms. This criteria also applies to profile pictures."

 

The image above in no way meets these criteria. It is clearly a SFW meme. There are a lot of images that have been posted in the past that were much more questionable than this without any consequences. If this is somehow considered "overt sexual imagery", then something like below would also be flagged (equally as stupid):

 

I knew things would get more strict under motor, but this is a bit ridiculous.

Motor had nothing to do with it actually. It was on the accord of Skittlez and advice of Amelie. 

 

I agree it shouldn't have been a warn, maybe just a "hey that meme comes from porn, pls no"

 

But yeah, i think we can get the input from skittlez and see how this goes

Ok so a few things

 

1) yes i agree it was a little much to warn for that and your warn will be removed at the earliest possible time and consider this appeal for a warn posted in ban appeals accepted when it could have easily been resolved by just dming me. my dm's are always open and you of all people should know this.

 

2)you claim that NSFW isn't a rule here

so people can't say "i didn't know this was classified as nsfw"

 

3) you claim i'm making discord too strict here

but in reality i'm just making my mods actually do work. Mistakes do happen and there's no need to blow it out of proportion. My mods are human just like you and I are and humans make mistakes.
