So, I enjoy steam, but I HATE having to get security codes for connections from an IP address that I've already "Approved"

Any way I can say, do not ask for 2FA if the login attempt is from "X" IP?

You COULD disable TFA, but that kinda defeats the purpose, Steam already kinda does this by storing your credentials on the computer, but you'll have to login again if something causes those to be invalidated.

I (unfortunately) cannot allow 2FA to be disabled on my account.

 

IMO, I should either (A) be able to whitelist a specific IP to bypass 2FA, or (B) Be able to WhiteList a MAC address to bypass 2FA.

 

With A, any login within my network would be standard

 

With B, any login on a specific computer would bypass 2FA.

 

Sure, you can whitelist certain platforms on certain networks, but it isn't good for a dev who needs to clear Cache/Cookies frequently

It would work for users with static IPs, however there must a reason, effort or technical that would cause valve to not have already done this.
