Player models showing ERROR text and large massive box around them

Hey guys, 

 

Sorry to bother y'all, I was wondering if anyone has a way to fix the player model issue in the attached screenshot below? It's showing large ERROR text with big box around almost everything. 

 

I had to use Vauff's map downloader to successfully download the maps for ZE, as earlier none of the maps could be downloaded successfully, and now I'm seeing this issue. 

 

I've done cl_downloadfilter all, cl_allowdownload 1 so far, same issue.

Do you have error message in console when you trying to join the sv? I think it's failing to download the models when you are trying to join

my guess is that you skipped downloading all customs player models, since you couldnt download maps earlier.

 

could you please check if you have these files:

 

Steam\steamapps\common\Counter-Strike Global Offensive\csgo\models\player\custom_player\legacy\GFLclan\mcwhite

Steam\steamapps\common\Counter-Strike Global Offensive\csgo\materials\models\player\custom\GFLclan\mcwhite

 

This is the white master chief skin.

You're having issues connecting to the FastDL for some reason. Are you running FACEIT anticheat? That software is known to block connections to our FastDL.

 

If not, I've just put together a pack of all server resources that you can manually download if you can't get the ingame downloads to work.

Hi all, 

 

I believe FACEIT anticheat could be in use but not sure how to check for it. Never did any kind of changes to any of the CS:GO folders. I did read in another thread that Vauff you've replied regarding disabling FACEIT if it's enabled. Can you kindly advise how to disable it temporarily? 

 

I'll try the resource pack download method right now and see if it works. I did notice that I was missing a folder of the mcwhite in one of the directories that donchill has listed. Thanks!

Vauff's resource packs seem to fix the issue. No more of those giant error boxes. 

 

Thanks a bunch for the help, guys. Appreciate it. And thanks for showing me where the FACEIT anticheat is, Vauff. Seems like I don't have that running (no icon at all) but probably where I'm located, the connection is just not friendly to the server hence the failure of the downloads.
