For us CS:S people, Sandstorm isn't a brand new map, quite in fact we played through all 10+ versions of it plenty of times until we reached f1 and then we played that one a few more times too, so what exactly is new in this version then? The mapper himself has ported the most updated CS:GO version back to CS:S for us mortals to enjoy! As well as this, we'll be starting off this event with a brand new map made by our very own Soft Serve! This event has the potential of being a short and sweet one depending on how we do on the first two maps. Meatboss3 should be an easy map to tackle but I feel like not many people have seen the wonders of that map so I decided to also include it for this event. For this event we'll be playing: ze_radiance_v1_0 -- Download by clicking here! ze_sandstorm_css_v1_5x1 -- Download by clicking here! meatboss3 -- Download by clicking here! Notice I: If you're having issues downloading these maps in-game, download them from this thread and install following these instructions: Download by clicking the green sentence. Extract .bsp file in your maps folder, commonly located in: C:/Program Files/Steam/steamapps/common/Counter-Strike Source/cstrike/download Time for the event: Saturday September 12th @ 5pm CDT To check at which time the event is for you, check this website to give you an idea. PLEASE REFER TO THE TIME LISTED IN THE STEAM GROUP AS THE ABSOLUTE TIME AT WHICH THE EVENT STARTS! Notice II: Events are always scheduled in our Steam group, however, we also always announce over at our Discord server when the event begins. Special Kickers: None for this event VIP Rewards: Winners of any one map will receive one week of V.I.P. Winners of two or all three maps will receive two weeks of V.I.P. Rules: This event should be a bit tryhard, please avoid spamming the voicechat. Regular server rules will apply for this event as usual Sitting in spec unless you're a spectating admin is not allowed. Every map will be played for about 120 minutes.
