Nasty 0 / 621 Report Post Posted January 4, 2021 When I'm on the server and it switches to a new map I never played, it downloads and then kicks me because it is missing mapname.bmp Is this a known issue? This also happens when I first connect to the server with a new map. I join and then some wierd disconnect happens and it redownloads something and i rejoin. It doesn’t happen very often and usually is fixed the second time I try downloading the map so I haven’t looked for a fix. Does this happen a lot for you? As to the second, the server has an auto-retry plugin that causes users to retry if it detects it is your first time playing the map (I think if you just downloaded the map) in order to download particles. Not sure if it applies to all maps though. You can turn auto-retry off by typing !autoretry when in game. If you do this, you won’t auto-retry for particles, which will affect gameplay.
