Cleveland - The Trolls Becoming the Trolled? (World Series Game 7)

Last Summer, the Cleveland Cavaliers faced a 3-1 deficit in the 2016 NBA Finals against the Golden State Warriors. When most of the NBA World assumed the series was in the books, the Cavs won three straight games to clinch their first title in franchise history and shock the world. And with that, it created a meme like no other.... "The Warriors blew a 3-1 lead in the NBA Finals." Twitter trolls would be tweeting this almost everywhere...

Anyways while Cleveland fans are enjoying this talk about Golden State's collaspe, the city's baseball team, the Indians, are going to play a Game 7 against the Chicago Cubs in the ongoing 2016 World Series. The Indians were leading the series three games to one and the Cubs were looking at a disappointing end to one of the best seasons in franchise history. But that was until Chicago won two straight games to force a Game 7 that will be played in Cleveland on Wednesday night. Now all of those "3-1" jokes are coming back to haunt the city. Indians, a team that was on the verge of delivering Cleveland its second professional sports title in the same year, are now on the verge of having to wait longer to end their long World Series title drought. No matter the outcome after Wednesday night, it will be a field day for memers and trolls all over social media. Game 7 is upon us.
