What kind of punishment was it (mute/gag, server ban): Ban

 

Why should you be unbanned?

 

Some guy was talking about ddosing people, started getting lag spikes so left and turned on a VPN. Came back and it said I had a duplicate ban. Was just informed after posting for an appeal on forums that it happens at times if the vpn server had someone banned off it before. Is there any way to prevent a duplicate ban from happening? I like the server but would also like to stay protected.

Only way to prevent is to not use VPNs whilst on GFL Servers.

Hi MistrMouse.

the reason this happened is because you are most likely using a Free VPN Service that other people have used on our servers and got banned with.

SourceSleuth detected the same IP Address connecting and banned you. As Dini mentioned, one of the ways to avoid this is to not use a VPN on our servers or, if you’re inclined to, purchase a premium VPN service (which less people might have).

If no one unbanned you until I’m back home tomorrow, I will.
