So, now you know the basics of Cyberspace, its time to get real. Since each map has their own unique Cyberspace, I'll talk about the hacking and defense. Whenever you're the team that's on the offense, you're going to need a decker at one point or another in order to achieve one of your goals. You do this by going into Cyberspace and finding panels you can hack, like in the tutorial(I really hope you've played the tutorial before reading this...). You have Three different ways of hacking: Wedge(most basic), ICEBreaker(most complex), and ICEScan. Wedge is a one-time easy hack. It just takes down the barrier for a short amount of time. ICEBreaker is more permanent. Now, you might be asking: but how do I hack? Simple: Look at it, press 1 for Wedge, 2 for ICEBreaker, and 3 for ICEScan(basically what this does is remove GreenICE or reveal ICEMine, which are protections added by the other team). Once you've done that, you have buttons to press. Press e on the button that's most recently showed up above the buttons until you're done hacking. Once you go through, you have to decrypt a panel(you can also be cracking a password, which is easier than decrypting). Just do the same steps as if you were hacking. But, you can go a step further. You can protect the panel by adding on extra layers of encryption. There are three methods you can use, and using all of them makes it very hard for the opposing team to hack it. Now, you can also add protection to barriers. There are also three ways to protect barriers, and you can do all three. Now: Cyberspace navigation. It's often confusing to navigate through it, and it's made more difficult by the fact that each map has a different Cyberspace layout. However, you're goals are highlighted just like in Meatspace. You're job is to use grey platforms to change your gravity, and use boosters to get you to high places. That's about it, and if you have any more questions please ask feel free to ask me @Kite9867.
