Rcool64 1,007 / 16,299 Report Post Posted August 3, 2016 As the forums have been recreated, one thing I have noticed is the lack of player reports. Granted, there isn't a section for that, but it'll be there in the future. For now, they should just be pmed to admins. Player Reports are kinda underrated if you think about it. Player reports can solve problems and have the same outcome as an admin punishing a player. While player reports aren't always answered instantly, they still can get answered and justice will still be done. Admins can't always be there when needed and may have other things to do. Not only would this be the right thing to do meanwhile, but it can save them some pressure and stress. Now then, I'm going to go through a quick guide on how to make a player reports. If you see a player doing something wrong, the first thing you should do is screenshot it. Admins aren't going to just take your word for it and you're going to need proof. You can screenshot on steam by using the default button (F12). Other screenshotting programs like imgur and gyazo work pretty well too. If you see a hacker or a mic spammer, you should record a demo rather than screenshotting. This is done (in GMOD atleast) by typing "record (name)" in console. If you want to stop the recording, simply type "stop" in console. Overall, I made this thread just to remind everyone that player reports can make a big difference and I feel that they should be used more. #PlayerReportAwareness
