Any Tarkov Veteran have any tips and tricks for a beginner like me?

I've had tarkov for a week now, and I completely suck at it, though I have been able to successfully extract 3 times, majority of the time it's just me dying because either I'm too slow to loot a body or I just get shot from behind and die immediately. 

 

I would love some tips that you guys have.

Dont play alone, look for a friend who wants to start with you, or a experienced player. If you played EFT first time, check the map first by playing offline, with scav enabled. You will not loose any loot in offline mode and check out the EFT Wiki, each Map like Customs,Woods, Interchange have some decent maps whcih you can open on a second monitor to check out exits and important buildings.

^ This is a ammo chart for the game this tell you what dmg the round does and how how pen it has its great if you need to see what ammo is good cause you can kit out a gun but ammo is what really matters 

 

One more tip off the top of my head is I recommend cranking your brightness up this might seem strange but trust me on this one it helps 

 

Since I'm kind of burned out this wipe I'm not sure if ill be playing much but I do know if you really do wanna get into Tarkov watch pestily

he is a great content creator for the game and has lots of guides out+coming out on loot spawn and other important things  to help new player get started in Tarkov

Yeah, I'm playing with a friend right now, problem is we're both noobs at the game, I've watched some tips and tricks and currently learning the extraction point of customs and loot spawns as well. Thanks for the advice!

Oooh I never knew of that google doc! Thanks a lot! I think I know why you need the brightness up, because night time sucks and also there are a lot of dark areas on some maps like interchange. I'll start watching some more Tarkov youtubers to see what they do. Thanks, I appreciate it!
