Event #241 -- "In memory of willy 'COCKatiel getting aids in Thailand DICK'em boogaloo bill cletus the sister fister based' wilson"

Event Overview:

Hello everyone! This event was selected from our Nomination Megathread, which you can check (and nominate your own ideas) here! -- If you'd like to see your nominations appear in these threads make sure to drop your ideas in the thread linked above!

 

For this week, as suggested by Mr. GFL himself, we'll be honoring one of the most based men within the Zombie Escape community.  When you think of willy "boogaloo bill" wilson you think of Last Man Standing, so it makes sense to honor the man himself by playing one of his favorite maps in loving memory. But then what in god's name is the second map? Thanks to Mr. GFL himself we'll have a CS:S first release of the critically acclaimed and long-awaited for Beach Escape, a map that's only been seen by the eyes of the neighbour CS:GO ZE community, Zeddy's before. They did not win but hopefully we do.

Notice:

• Events are scheduled in our Steam group, however, we also always announce over at our Discord server when the event begins.

Special Kickers:

• None for this event. (It's a given we're starting LMS on Extreme)

VIP Rewards:

• This'll be a long event, so we'll be rewarding winners of any one map with one week of big V.I.P.
• Winners of all maps will win two weeks of big V.I.P.

Rules:

• This event will be of chill but also tryhard nature. Off-topic talk is allowed so long as it doesn't start interfering with the flow of the maps.
• Regular server rules will apply for this event as usual.
• Sitting in spec unless you're a spectating admin is not allowed.
• Both maps will be played for about 120 minutes. Any extra extends can be requested and done through admin votes.
