Off-topic from the point of this post but whatever.

 

It's one way to get warned. A harsher character limit won't stop people from spamming, they'll just get their shit removed and moderated in some way as normal.

No but an unlimited character limit can easily be exploited, if I actually wanted to do something I could easily just set up a script and spam multiple million character long posts without any issue, surprisingly it takes a toll on a server.
