Date: [REDACTED] Subject: D-0034 Dear [REDACTED], I must say that I am concerned about one of the D-Class Personnel that has arrived a few weeks ago to Site 19. His behavior is quite irregular compared to other D-Class's. On January 14th, [REDACTED], D-0034, with three other subjects, was sent into the containment chamber for SCP-173 for testing. Upon entering, the three subjects stayed close to the containment wall until ordered to approach SCP-173, however, D-0034 walked towards SCP-173 immediately, an extremely unnatural result in emotion when entering the chamber compared to any staff member or subject. In fact, when approaching the SCP, camera evidence shows that he begins to caress it. Two of the three subjects with him reported that D-0034 has said something to the creature, however, what was heard was unintelligible. After which, each subject, including D-0034, reported that they were affected by one of SCP-173's ability, which allows it to blind any individual surrounding it, where SCP-173 then kills one of the subjects. The D-Class subjects are immediately escorted and SCP-173 was locked into the containment chamber. Further testing on D-0034 is requested, as we may classify him as an SCP due to his interaction with SCP-173. It is possible that he and SCP-173 are telepathically connected, where D-0034 has told it, or maybe forced it, to kill anyone it sees. This theory is one of the most likely considering that SCP-173 has not attempted to kill anyone (Excluding the incidents following its capture).
