K0Killer2 1 / 2,126 Report Post Posted July 7, 2016 I have noticed that your SSL doesn't work properly when someone posts an image in the shoutbox to an outside source (such as imgur) that loads over http instead of https. In order to keep that pretty looking green lock I suggest either disabling images from loading in the shoutbox or adding a mod that directs http to https if applicable. I would imagine this also happens in threads & posts. What can be done here is using a mod such as the one above, disabling outside images unless uploaded as an attachment, or not allowing the images to load and presenting a link instead. denros 776 / 0 Report Post Posted July 7, 2016 SSL really isn't essential except maybe for the login pages. We don't want to stop people linking images from non SSL websites cause that would ruin our forums. We also could try cache our images straight to our site but we decided that it wasn't worth it because it could cause security flaws. Login pages and registration pages serve all files in SSL which I think is good enough.
