How to turn off Notifications and Automatic Following of a Topic

For people that want to stop receiving emails or spam about notifying them about new posts or responses to a topic they had posted a reply on.

 

How to turn off Notifications and Automatic Following of a Topic

 

1. Login to your Account.
2. Click on your "username" located at the upper right corner of the forums.
3. Click on "Account Settings" under "Settings" label.
4. Click on "Notification Settings" under the "Other Settings" Tab to your right. It is under the "Overview" section.
6. Uncheck "Automatically follow new content I post" and "Automatically follow content I reply to" under the "Automatically follow content" label.
7. You may also edit other notifications to your preference.
8. Afterwards, click "Save" to save all settings.
