What's your favourite book?

Recommended Posts

Just wanted to make a post asking everyone what their favourite book is, at the moment mine is The Complete Cthulu Mythos Tales which I'm currently working my way through and loving it. My long running favourite series of books would either be Lord of the Rings or the Inheritance Cycle.

I haven't finished a book in a LONG time.
If I went with favorite series, it'd be The Mortal Instruments series, though I've only read 3 of the 6.
A few other good series are:
Percy Jackson
Harry Potter (ignoring the creator)
39 Clues
Hunger Games
Warrior Cats is meh
I don't think I've finished any of these other than Harry Potter lol.

Posted  Edited by Joshy - Edit Reason: really mad about the spoilers

So far A Brief History in Time by Stephen Hawking

Another one that follows it closely and is less informative is The House of God by Samuel Shem.  It's not a religious book. It's a fictional story about medical school interns.

Y'all ever heard of the Gone series?

The premise is that everyone over the age of 15 suddenly disappears and there's a dome around the city that blocks anyone getting in or out. On top of that, some kids start getting powers too.

It's a good series and definitely wprth a read, if a bit cringy at points

Achievements

My favorite book last year was "The Art of Deception" by Kevin Mitnick.

It is a really good book about social engineering that shows you how the weakest part of every security system is the human factor. Great book 11/10 would read again.
