Stepping down

Hey,

 

My resignation from the role of Moderation Team Leader has been planned since 01/03/2019. This was due to the fact that my chances of progressing in education, to university, were becoming bleak. This was stressing the heck out of me, as to why I wanted to resign but very recently I found that the terms of my application to the University of which I wanted to attend are that of an unconditional (an unconditional offer does not have any grade requirements, they just accept you if you meet a few criteria that I have already fulfilled/am guaranteed to fulfill).

 

So, lucky me. I get to go to university (so I'm stress-free in that regard) and soon after that I got the opportunity to become Director, so stuff is looking good for me. I wanted to use this post as an update as people who know I was wanting to resign but then got Director are probably thinking "What is going on?" so, there's your explanation! Despite all of this, I do believe the role of Moderation Team Leader is better suited to move on to someone else, as I cannot possibly be 100% effective as both Moderation Team Leader and Director at the same time. 

 

What is going to happen going forward? Well, a new Leader has been voted in by the Team, Community Advisors and Directors, @motorsteak. I will be working closely with him, and beating him mercilessly if he does badly! I'll slowly be passing permissions and responsibilities down to him over the coming days.
