This event (courtesy of willy wilson willy jim jonathan wilson, once again) was randomly selected from our nomination megathread, which you can check here! (Nominations are starting to lack, so feel free to dump your own ideas here!) For this week we're venturing into the fantastical world of Middle-Earth once more (for the fourth time in 124 events as a matter of fact!) to save this mystical land from the evil Sauron. For this event we'll be playing: ze_LOTR_Mines_of_Moria_v6_3 ze_LOTR_Isengard_v2_3 ze_lotr_helms_deep_v5 ze_LOTR_Mount_Doom_v4_2 ze_lotr_minas_tirith_v2_2fix (Order of the maps in the event slightly rearranged to work better considering the maps we're playing) Time for the event: Saturday April 13th @ 11pm GMT-0 To check at which time the event is for you, check this website to give you an idea. Notice: Events are schedules in our Steam group, however, we also always announce over at our Discord server when the event begins. Special Kickers: Something may be thrown in to not make this event as lackluster and barebones. Both endings in Mount Doom must be beaten at least once VIP Rewards: Winning 3 out of the 5 maps will give you a week of V.I.P.! Duration of the event: Each map will be played for a maximum of 60 minutes, while Minas will be played for a maximum of 90 minutes. Rules: This will be a relatively chill event, so random talk on the mic will be allowed so long as it doesn't get in the way of the event too much. Regular server rules will apply for this event as usual Sitting in spec unless you're a spectating admin is not allowed. Leaders: Anyone is free to lead but I may be there because Isengard has been spotted. See you on the weekend!
