Regarding Earlier in the Chatbox

Good evening everyone,

 

I wanted to provide a quick update and a rundown on what I was saying in the Chatbox earlier, and to apologize for a bit of rashness on my part.

 

Due to circumstances that I will not be detailing, both because of their heavily personal nature and simply not to cause unnecessary worry or otherwise where there is none to be had, I decided in an emotional state that I was going to drop every single thing I was doing online, in order to remedy the problems that had come up as a consequence of my heavy activity on here and elsewhere.

 

However, after cooling my head a bit and after some other stuff on the personal side of things, I have found no reason why I should not remain on GFL, though my activity will not be as extensive as it was, for I will be trying to limit my online time a fair bit.

 

I apologize for my rashness and causing a bunch of confusion and possibly pain for nothing. I will not say that it was not partially a motive in my mind to get sympathy or care, as when cases such as before occur, that is something that is typically the case, but I will say that looking back at it, it was wrong of me to make such a rash decision and bring it onto the Chatbox, instead of simply remaining silent at the time.

 

Bottomline, and I apologize for the sporadic nature of this thread, I am sorry for being a fool earlier, and I will not be leaving Games For Life. I know I probably will not be wanted "back," for the stunt from before, and I will justifiably probably be viewed as the term "attention whore," and if so, I understand completely, and I respect that. I simply hope I did not completely destroy any and all relationships I had on here, and that I can still be of some sort of use for this amazing community.

I am staying there SuperFineMan, just not going to be on for so many hours effectively straight alongside everything else I do online. I will actually be trying to limit my online activity, instead of spend entire days absorbed in the computer(because that is not healthy). I made this thread to apologize for my abrupt "Hey, I am gone," and subsequent dialogue in the Chatbox earlier.

When I do wrong, I find it good to publicly admit and address it, especially when the initial response was as great as it was. I figured I owed a much better apology than "Hey, sorry."

Pretty much, I came on randomly saying that I would not be back on GFL, and talked about some things(there were questions), and overall caused confusion and such, and I felt it best to address it. This is geared towards those who were involved, primarily.

We all have those days.  There's no need to fret over it.  It's better if it happens here anyways; this place and other online communities are safer learning experiences.
