All Suggestions for GFL ZS Server

 

DM me on Steam, Discord, or on my GFL Profile (give me the link or script!).

If you hate this layout or disagree with any suggestion, let me know too.

NOT ALL ITEMS WILL BE IMPLEMENTED! They're only just ideas at their core.

I'm making this so that everything is more organized and better to keep track of whats in and whats out.

Links to whatever is the title just in case you need special help.

 

 

 

(status is used for idk, what we think? not sure why i added it)

Weapons & Tools/Deployables:

 

General

  • Fix inconsistent hit registers on select weapons (I usually think it's sniper)

 

Arsenal Crate

  • Increase pistol ammo buy count from 12 to 14 bullets per purchase

Resupply Box

  • (requested) Stackable resupply use
  • Reduce Resupply Box price in Point Shop like 60 points (it's 200 freaking points)
  • Resupply does not give a true amount of points if many people use it the same time

"Tosser" SMG

  • Reduce hip and ADS accuracy

 "Hunter" Rifle

  • Increase ammunition count
  • Decrease bullet hitbox(?)

"Zombie Drill" Desert Eagle

  • Increase hip and ADS accuracy

"Sweeper" Shotgun

  • Reduce accuracy

 

 

Maps:

 

(status) Last Stand Mall 2015

  • Mallmart map, very large map. Working elevators and custom props.

(status) zs_zedders_mall

  • Mallmart map, decently large. Has an outside and according to creator, there are purple reflections; use mat_specular 0 to disable it.

(Added a few) Map compilation made by reme leader 049

  • Includes obj, ze, and zs, maps.

(status) zs_intersection_v7ap made/uploaded by Juan the Panda

  • No idea either. Can't get anything out of the picture or description.

(status) zs_mlt_home_b3

  • According to Vee, it's a good map for the average amount of players on the server.

(status) zs_blitzkrieg_v15

  • WWI & WWII theme. Has trenches.

(status) zs_house_outbreak_fixed_v2

  • Similar to Pub map (one house to cade).

(status) ZS Muhosran

  • Apartment complex. Similar to pub.

(status) ZS Christmas Town

  • Festive map. Small town, actually used this map on the old server.

(status) zs_dryfield_v4

  • Remake of the Dryfield from the 1999 PS2 game Parasite Eve 2.

(status) zs_barren 

  • Small-ish map. This was created in 2013!

(status) zs_ancient_sand_v3

  • An ancient settlement in the middle of the desert. Lots of rooms to cade.

(status) zs_abandoned_trainstation

  • Tbh looks a bit sketch. Vee says it's good.

(status) zs_abandoned_subway

  • Takes place only inside? Small hallways and rooms. Vee also says it's good.

(status) zs_snowedin

  • According to creator, there's a balanced gameplay

(status) zs_antarctic_hospital

  • Snowy. Has HDR support!

(status) zs_construct_final

  • You dare reveal this to the GFL ZS community and they will go batshit crazy

Gameplay/General Changes:

 

General:

  • Zombie team
    • Charged melee attacks
    • Counter to poison or reduce effects
  • Human team
    • Add more deployables for countering poison and headcrabs
    • Reduce worth menu point value to <150
  • Switch back to 24/7 mall?

 

Boss - Giga Gore Child:

  • Buff?

Boss - Nightmare:

  • Buff?

Boss - Shade:

  • Reduce hp to 750
  • Allow Shade to be damaged by conventional weapons but at a reduced damage (otherwise damaged by pulse weapons
  • Increase movement speed

Boss - Tickle Monster:

  • REDUCE MELEE RANGE!!!

Boss - Bonemesh:

  • Ball of gibs thrown explode on impact

Wraith:

  • Reduce invisibility

Flesh Creeper:

  • Reduce time to create nest
  • Reduce space to create nest
  • Increase nest health

Fast Zombie:

  • Slow zombie when using primary attack

Cade Mechanics:

  • Add prop snap rotations to various degrees (15 degrees seem most wanted)
  • Try and reduce glitchiness
  • Modify interactions between zombie hit to carried prop so that one hit doesn't knock it out (generally)
    • Make so that prop cannot be knocked out of hand from poison
  • Fix props that refuse to rotate
  • Fix certain props (doors) that are positioned too far right from where it is supposed to be when carried

Redeemer Loadout:

  • Add Carpenter's Hammer

Map Rotation System:

  • (requested) Reduce the amount of maps in rotation and focus more on what is played more
  • Remove maps that are not played often

Music:

Commands:

  • !stuck or !unstuck command
  • Give admin fakeban command ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
  • !givehammer or !hammer command for admins
  • !member command to bring them to somewhere where we can have them sign up
  • Nail Locator Command
    • Allows for admins to have a command for locating a player's nails and removing them
    • Some variables may need to change to fit the ZS server
  • ulx setname
    • No idea why, but it may be useful
  • Extra ULX Commands
    • Has all the stuff we like (probably on the server already)
    • Extra commands like ulx explode and ulx ip that would be very helpful

 Rule/MOTD Changes:

  • Simplify MOTD
  • There are specifics that need to be talked over (vulgar language and racism)
  • Add rule where intentionally lagging the server by nailing tons of props together is not allowed (admin has final say but it's always good to point it out in the !motd)
  • Add rule where invincible cades are not allowed

 

 

New Items:

 

UI - Zombie Survival Kill Counter

  • I believe this was on the old ZS server minus the health counter on the bottom left

UI - Zombie Survival HD Icon Pack

  • This has textures for (I believe) all vanilla icons
  • I recommend looking more into which applies 

Gameplay - Blood Moon Wave by @Z1galord

  • It is an open-end idea, so suggest to me what this could be!
  • Essentially a hardcore wave with enhanced zombies
  • To give humans a chance, Carpenter's and Repair hammer can repair more

Deployable: Forcefield

  • Essentially blocks poison and any projectiles (probably not props)
  • Powered by pulse ammo

Boss - Tank

  • Model is from L4D2
  • Big boy with many health, but not damage-dealing
  • It can make a prop go supersonic, so be careful!

Zombie Class - Zombine

  • Wave 5-6 Jihadist

Weapon - Grenade Launcher

  • Not designed for ZS (probably a lot of coding or shit like that idk lua)
  • Pretty cool, but needs to be expensive

 

 

Miscellaneous:

 

  • Add colored text (like [red] or [blue] if the chat box allows it)
  • Supporter and VIP+ (Donor) perks:
    • Double jump jet pack
    • Parachute
  • Admin Application:

ZS Tantibus

Players needed to !rtv has been reduced

  • !rtv now fixed to allow for map votes

Map Votes are now in set intervals (after 5 rounds)

  • kinda like !rhammer but better

Fast Zombie:

  • Unlocks when 75% of human population is dead instead of 50%

Players now can change their playermodels in ZS Menu
