This event was selected from our Nomination Megathread, which you can check (and nominate your own ideas) here! -- If you'd like to see your nominations appear in these threads make sure to drop your ideas in the thread linked above! For this week, as an idea of yours truly we'll tackle two maps that have a similar story behind them. You see, mappers of both Shaurma and Serpentis made a final version years ago (v3_b07 and v1_1 respectively) and left it at that, but in recent weeks they've decided to go back and revamp their own maps! Serpentis in a way is still similar to v1_1 if you've played it, with the exception of it being somewhat harder, whereas for Shaurma the map has changed so much you won't even believe it's that old map! Do be warned that when testing, Shaurma went through so many changes that it'll freeze your game a tiny bit when loading, so once we beat Serpentis and move on to the next map it may take a little bit for you to load into the next map. PLEASE REFER TO THE TIME LISTED IN THE STEAM GROUP AS THE ABSOLUTE TIME AT WHICH THE EVENT STARTS! Notice: Events are scheduled in our Steam group, however, we also always announce over at our Discord server when the event begins. Special Kickers: None for this event. VIP Rewards: Winners of any one map will receive a week of V.I.P.! Winners of both maps will receive two weeks! Rules: This event will be of chill but also tryhard nature, micspamming / off-topic is allowed so long as it's not overshadowing / overly spammy. Regular server rules will apply for this event as usual. Sitting in spec unless you're a spectating admin is not allowed. Each map will be played for a maximum of 120 minutes.
