A Goodbye To Events

It has come to a point where I am resigning as leader of the Events team. I had an enjoyable half a year leading it.

 

Recently, as some have been made aware, I've had irl issues that have resulted in inactivity, which has been brought up to me several times since then. Whatever the case, it was brought up to my superiors anonymously on multiple occasions, and I was proposed with the idea of resigning. After thinking about it, me and Ben decided it was what's best for the team and myself currently. As for the new leader, I won't state who yet, mostly due to the fact that I'm posting this before it is announced. However, a new leader has already been selected. They know who they are, and I wish you the best of luck in leading the team 🙂 In my current state, while I am uncapable to lead the team, but I will be staying on as an Event Coordinator to continue bringing events to the community once I'm at a point where I can. Also, if anyone is curious, I'm staying on with all of my other current positions. For those of you who know me from these, I'll still be around. I'm also still running the 2020 Demographics (go check it out if you haven't )

 

Thanks for giving me a great 6 months. It was fun while it lasted. I just want the best for the team. Shoutout to all former and current ECs, and shoutout to the unnamed new leader 😄

Hope the real life challenges calm or are painless   Event team has been doing a great job in my opinion so even though there may have been hiccups from your perspective I think you did a good job.  I can't say I "know" who the next team lead is, but I'd be very surprise if my suspicions didn't come to fruition; I think they will do a good job too.
