Event #355 -- GFL Christmas Event 2023

Event Overview:

Merry Christmas to the lovely people of GFL. This year we will celebrate with traditional Christmas maps with some extra prizes! This will also be a two day event so be prepared to spread some holiday cheer. Notice that the Friday event will be one hour later to try and catch more of the NA crowd getting off work. Sorry pacific gamers, I don't think I can push it back any further.

Notice:

• Events are scheduled in our Steam group, however, we also always announce over at our Discord server when the event begins.

• Santa will be played on extreme

Rewards:

• Participants of all maps will win server VIP until 1/12.
• Winners of two maps will win server VIP until 1/12.
• Winners of four maps will win server VIP until 1/19.
• Winners of all maps will win server VIP until 1/26.
• Participants who show up for every map will be entered into a raffle for $20 (Courtesy of @Trap Babe)
• EDIT: We will also have a drawing for any participant for $20 and $25 (Courtesy of @willywilson and @Sir_Ross)
• The top 3 winners will each be given $50! If there is a tie, then there will be a raffle between the tie. (Courtesy of @Pyrono)

Rules:

• This event should be of a chill/tryhard nature.
• Regular server rules will apply for this event as usual.
• Sitting in spec unless you're a spectating admin is not allowed.
• Gargantua Xmas maps will be played for 30 minutes.
• Christmas Beta and Christmas Infection will be played for 90 minutes.
• Santassination will be played for 120 minutes + whatever extends.

Leaders:

• Any willing one.

A quick mention for the cash prices, after the winners have been identified I will have to add you in order to gift you the steam gift card. Keep in mind it'll take a bit for me to send you the money because steam is doo doo with it (not including the time I'm going to be busy IRL).
